The 'Delicious and Fresh from the Islands' association is a non-profit organization, with the mandate to develop and promote local Island products, marketing them both locally, as well as provincially. In order to develop its projects, the associaiton receives funding from partners. Key partners include the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food, the Local Development Centre, the Community Developmental Assistance Society, the Regional Council of the Elected, the local employment office and Tourism Îles de la Madeleine.

The 'Fresh from the Islands' collaborates with the 'Table
de concertation agroalimentaire des Îles de la Madeleine' (TCAÎM) in all developmental projects in the biological sector. The TCAÎM is one of sixteen 'Tables de concertation agroalimentaires du Québec' (TCAQ).
