Sherry Ann McLean, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, at the age of 67, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island with her loving family by her side. Born on April 25, 1957, in the beautiful Magdalen Islands, Sherry’s life was as vibrant and heartwarming as the coastal landscapes of her birthplace.
She was blessed to have three profound and enduring loves in her life. Sherry was predeceased by her first husband, Calvin Clarke, the father of her cherished daughters, Rhonda Bernard (Paul) and Angela Clarke who blessed her with a granddaughter Gabrielle Clarke. She was predeceased by her second husband Ken Zwicker who graced her with an extended family that included Nadine Zwicker (William) and grandchildren Emma and Kayla Zwicker. Sherry is survived by her current love of her life Mark McLean where her family circle grew once again to include her adored stepdaughter, Pamela Roach and her children Evan (Katie) and Catherine (Brad). Sherry is survived by her brother, Blair Chenell (Pauline Boudreau), and her niece, Vanessa, and nephews, Stanley and Robert.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she took every opportunity to express her love for them. Her grandchildren were the source of constant warmth and guidance.
Her strong bond and deep connection with her brother, was one like no other.
Sherry was fortunate to find joy and comfort in rug hooking with a wonderful circle of friends.
As we bid farewell to Sherry Ann McLean, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and the countless lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed, but the memories she created will continue to bring light to the lives of those she loved.
